The single building located on the central axis of the scenic area in front of us is the Fushan Coffee Culture Center. It was built in December 2010 with a construction area of 6600 square meters. It is the first themed cultural center in China that systematically and comprehensively introduces the development history of coffee in Fushan, Hainan.

The exhibition on the second floor of the cultural center features seven rich and detailed sections. Every picture and exhibit carries the profound heritage and unique culture of Fushan Coffee. Here, we can gain a deeper understanding of the development history of Fushan Coffee and explore the story of Mr. Chen Xianzhang and Fushan.

In 1933, patriotic overseas Chinese Mr. Chen Xianzhang, inspired by the idea of saving the country through industry, returned to Hainan for inspection with the ambition of "revitalizing industry and saving the country through industry". After investigation, he determined that the Fushan area is an ideal natural place for the development of tropical agriculture, with "Pingwu Mianmiao, sweet springs and fertile soil, evergreen trees throughout the year, and convenient transportation".

In the summer of 1935, Mr. Chen Xianzhang founded Fumin Farm in Fushan, introducing 200 kilograms of Robusta coffee seeds brought back from Indonesia to the Fushan area. With Mr. Chen Xianzhang's efforts, the coffee planting on the farm was a great success, thus opening the curtain on the history of coffee in Hainan. Mr. Chen Xianzhang became the first person to introduce coffee from Fushan and achieve industrial production of coffee.

Fushan Coffee Culture and Style Town has been successively rated as the "First Coffee Town in China", "Top Ten Most Beautiful Towns in Hainan", and "Tourism Town in Hainan Province".

Entering the cultural center, we feel like passing through a time tunnel and witnessing the development process of Fushan Coffee back then. Here, not only can we gain a detailed understanding of the past and present of Fushan Coffee, but we can also learn up close the story of the craftsmanship behind a seed turning into a cup of coffee in your hand. The development history of both Hainan coffee and world coffee is vividly presented here.
