On May 29th, the "Enjoying the Fun West Coast of Hainan" 2024 Hainan Western Tourism Alliance Tourism Promotion Conference was successfully held in Urumqi, Xinjiang. The Hainan Western Tourism Alliance, together with key scenic spots, tourism related enterprises, and industry associations from 8 cities and counties in western Hainan, including Fushan Coffee Culture Town, showcased the "good products" of the Hainan Western Tourism series and promoted the "good scenery" of western Hainan.

At the beginning of the event, Zhang Liang, Deputy Secretary General of the People's Government of Danzhou City, Yu Jie, Deputy Director of the Xinjiang Department of Culture and Tourism, and Wang Zhongyun, Deputy Director of the Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture, respectively delivered speeches, warmly welcoming the guests and highly affirming the good foundation of cooperation and win-win in the tourism industry between western Hainan and Xinjiang. They also hope that through this promotion event, mutual benefit and deep integration can be promoted between the two sides, further deepening cultural and tourism exchanges and cooperation between the two places, jointly promoting tourism routes, expanding tourism markets, and achieving mutual benefit and win-win results.

At the promotion meeting, tourism experts highlighted the coastal scenery of the Hainan Island Tour Road and the rainforest scenery of the Tropical Rainforest National Park Tour Road, promoting the cultural and tourism resources of 8 cities and counties in western Hainan. They also showcased 7 high-quality tourism routes in western Hainan from the aspects of historical sites, educational research, cuisine, and sports.

At the promotion meeting, the Danzhou Tourism Association and the Urumqi Travel Agency Association signed strategic cooperation agreements on cultural tourism exchange and cooperation, as well as the transportation of tourists from both places. Xinjiang China Travel Agency Yiqi Tourism Group, Hainan Xiaoyao Tourism Group, and Danzhou Haihua Island Tourism Resort have signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the development of the tourism and cultural market.

The relevant person in charge of Danzhou Tourism and Culture Bureau stated that the Hainan Western Tourism Alliance Tourism Promotion Conference held in Xinjiang has aroused strong reactions from the industry, broadened the channels for cooperation and exchange between western Hainan and Xinjiang, and injected more confidence and motivation into further promoting the development of cultural tourism in both places. At the same time, this promotion event also serves as a warm-up publicity for events such as the 25th Hainan Island Happy Festival in 2024 and the 2nd China (Hainan) Dongpo Cultural Tourism Conference, attracting more tourists to visit the western part of Hainan.

This event is guided by the Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports, hosted by the Danzhou Municipal People's Government, and organized by the Hainan Western Tourism Alliance City and County Tourism Bureaus. The Hainan Western Tourism Alliance is composed of eight cities and counties, including Danzhou City, Dongfang City, Chengmai County, Lingao County, Changjiang County, Tunchang County, Qiongzhong County, and Baisha County.
